Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPWC)

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is an intergovernmental organisation that oversees the global endeavour for the permanent and verifiable elimination of chemical weapons.

It is the implementing body for the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC), which entered into force on 29 April 1997. The organisation promotes and verifies the adherence to the CWC, which prohibits the use of chemical weapons and requires their destruction. The OPCW has 193 member states, and is headquartered in The Hague, Netherlands.

Information Security Officer

Masters degree or equivalent in information technology or information system security or first university degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience or documented professional experience and/or specialised training in information security or related field with minimum 11 years of relevant experience.

Masters degree in science (preferably in chemistry or chemical engineering) or a first level university degree in combination with qualifying experience (minimum 9 years) or equivalent or specialized training in combination with minimum 13 years of qualifying experience.

Masters degree (preferably in learning, training and development, management, public or business administration, or a related area) or a first level university degree in a related field in combination with qualifying experience (minimum 7 years) or a relevant combination of technical qualifications and extensive professional experience (minimum 11 years) in talent management.
