In his capacity as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vice President Vincent Meriton applauded the staff for their hard work so far this year. “Thank you for all your effort and contribution to the success of the Department and Government with regards to our foreign policy” said Vice President Meriton. VP went on to encourage the Department’s employees to continue the good work, to be driven and build on their weaknesses in order to perform better.
Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Marina Confait, who was also present, added on to VP’s statement that “Working at the DFA is no easy feat, as the job often entails working past normal working hours and often into your weekends, yet you all give so much of your time and energy to get the job done. So I say to you all, thank you for choosing to work for DFA”.
