Memorandum of Understanding for the Establishment of Bilateral Political Consultations between Seychelles and Malta

Seychelles and Malta have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the Establishment of Bilateral Political Consultations at Malta House in London on Tuesday 21 May 2019.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Seychelles High Commissioner to Malta, Mr. Derick Ally and the High Commissioner of Malta to the UK, H.E. Mr Joseph Cole.
The agreement establishes a mechanism for regular bilateral consultations and allows the two countries to exchange views on international, interregional and regional cooperation issues of common interest.
For his part High Commissioner Ally noted that like Seychelles, Malta is a small island state with a large maritime space which shares and supports many issues related to climate change, environment, the Blue Economy, capacity challenges which concerns Seychelles.
