Newly accredited Filipino Ambassador calls on Secretary of State Faure and Principal Secretary Confait

The newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Philippines to Seychelles, H.E Ambassador Alex G. Chua, was received by Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and of the Blue Economy, Ambassador Barry Faure, and the Principal Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Marina Confait, today, at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Ambassador Faure welcomed Ambassador Chua at the Department and took the opportunity to reiterate the appreciation of Filipino expatriate workforce and their contribution in Seychelles.
“We know that during your tenure, the relations between Seychelles and the Philippines will continuously improve,” conveyed Ambassador Faure.
Ambassador Chua also expressed his satisfaction with the active partnership that exists between the two countries. “I wish to convey our appreciation for the kind hospitality that is extended to the Filipino workers in Seychelles,” said the Ambassador.
