President Zuma in Seychelles
The President of the Republic of South Africa and current Chair of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Organ Troika on Politics, Mr. Jacob Zuma, has arrived in Seychelles early this morning.
President Zuma is in Seychelles to meet with members of the Malagasy political leadership, Mr. Andry Rajoelina and Mr. Marc Ravalomanana who arrived earlier in this week, to discuss the SADC Roadmap for a resolution to the ongoing crisis in neighbouring Madagascar.
The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Mr. James Alix Michel, is currently hosting the meeting on the Island of Desroches.
Seychelles is the current Chair of the Indian Ocean Commission and is member of SADC.
