Seychelles shares in loss of UNODC staff members: book available for those wishing to pay calls of condolence

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jean- Paul Adam signed a condolence book in the presence of Shanaka Jayasekara, Programme Officer, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); expressing on behalf of the Government and people of Seychelles his heartfelt condolences to the families, as well as to the United Nations and the UNODC family following the killing of two UNODC International staff members in the Puntland State of Somalia.

He further wrote “Seychelles reaffirms its commitments to the values of the UN Charter and remains inspired by those UN personnel who sacrifice so much to continue to strive for a better tomorrow for all humanity”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to inform members of the public that a condolence book for the departed Mr Simon Davies and Mr Clement Gorrissen, is provided at the UNODC Programme Office located within REFLECS3 (Old Coast Guard Base), Bois de Rose Avenue, Victoria. The book will be available for those wishing to pay calls of condolence during working hours from 8-10 April.
