Sri Lanka Explosions: Seychellois are safe
The Department of Foreign Affairs, following the explosions in Sri Lanka early this morning, has contacted the Seychelles High Commission in Colombo to find out about their safety and the safety of Seychellois in Sri Lanka, especially since the holiday season has started.
The Department has received confirmation that there has been no death or injury registered of Seychellois.
The Office of the Seychelles High Commission in Colombo remains in touch with Seychellois in accommodations where Seychellois usually stay, and is providing advise on their continued safety and security.
The Department of Foreign Affairs thus reassures the public that Seychellois are safe and sound.
