The High Commissioner of South Africa on a two-day working visit

The high commissioner of the Republic of South Africa, Her Royal Highness Princess Zenani Dlamin, is in Seychelles on a two-day working visit.

On Wednesday, she paid a courtesy call on President Danny Faure at State House. She will also be meeting with Vice President Vincent Meriton, as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Ambassador Barry Faure, Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and the Blue Economy during her stay.

The discussions will revolve around various aspects of cooperation between the two sides and most specifically on the possibility of having a Mid –Term Review of the Second Senior Official Meeting that was held in Pretoria, in March 2018.

Seychelles and South Africa established diplomatic relations on 8th November 1993. In 2018, Seychelles and South Africa commemorated the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
